Emerald 18 Ltd. is the joint platform of Hargam Ltd. and H.Stark & Co. Ltd., known worldwide as two of the leading manufacturers of colored gemstones since the 1960s. Inspired by the history of emeralds,
I conducted research on the cultural history of mining countries (Zambia, Brazil & Ethiopia),
with the aim of shaping a brand identity that captures this ethnic essence in contemporary aesthetics.

For the logo, I designed a modern logotype with traditional details.
The emerald 18 badge was created in the shape of a fan made of simple geometric lines,
to connect the natural culture of the mining countries tribes, and to hint at a sunrise arising from the stone.

After designing the logo, I was given the challenging task of taking the brand into a new era,
by designing a website with a pleasant and innovative user experience.
During the planning & design process, new visual standards were set using a sharp and clean artistic direction, to speak directly to the brand’s target audience – the jewelers.
